Banana, nuts and raisins cake with chocolate chips



  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 120 grams of cream cheese
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of milk (of your choice)
  • 55 grams of butter
  • 220 grams of flour
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • A mixture of nuts and raisins (unsalted)
  • A good handful of dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, cream cheese, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Add the flour and baking powder to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the mixture of nuts, raisins, and dark chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
